Western USA     large version [1140x949 1.2 Mb] I suppose this is our backyard, and what a backyard! It's amazing what you can pick out of this image. To name just a few areas of interest easily identified: there's Mt. Rainer, Mt. Saint Helens, and Mt. Adams in southern Washington; Mt. Shasta in northern California; Basin and Range in Nevada; Grand Canyon in northern Arizona; Great Salt Lake in Utah, divided by an east-west causeway; Snake River Plain in Idaho — track of the Yellowstone hotspot; drainages of the upper Missouri and Yellowstone in Montana; North and South Platte joining in Nebraska; the Black Hills of South Dakota; and on and on. And if you think this image is impressive, the large version will knock your socks off.
