Voyager Earth features
The default Earth
uses a texture underlay grid grd=1 showing
- above sea level:
ARC Science Simulations' Face of the Earth
(based on NOAA-11 image data from 1992; natural surface colors of the Earth, pole-to-pole,
cloud-cover eliminated, snow-cover minimized)
mixed with shaded relief (derived from GTOPO30 DEM, Sandwell and Smith bathymetry v6.2, and various
polar bathymetry DEMs circa 1998)
- below sea level: color-coded and shaded relief bathymetry/topography (derived from same DEM sources as above)
